All conference attendees are welcome to also attend the following events:
Conference Dinner (December 5): This will be determined later.
Dhow Cruise Dinner (December 6 night): A dhow will take attending participants around Abu Dhabi Corniche for a two-hours tour during which a buffet style dinner will be served. The cost of tickets will be at subsidized rates for each participant and their guests. The actual fees will be announced on the conference web site.
Desert Safari (December 7): This will include off-road driving and dune bashing by professional drivers trained for driving in Abu Dhabi desert. The attendees will then be taken to a desert campsite where the guests will be able to view the desert sunset, ride camels, and do sand boarding. Buffet style local food will also be served. This event will be covered as part of the registration fee for all attendees.
- An extra conference dinner ticket will cost around $100.
- Dhow Cruise dinner and other planned social events will be at subsidized rates. We reserve a portion of the workshop income and look for external sponsors for this purpose. The actual rates will later be determined depending on the number of attendees and their guests.
- Center for Cyber Security and Privacy in Abu Dhabi (CCS-AD) will sponsor portions of the event. CCS-AD will subsidize all the social events to promote wider attendance by the conference participants and will cover all the air-travel, accommodation and ground transportation related costs of the keynote speakers.
